Get together party![]() January 2nd, 2008 at 7 PMThe Mayor of Oslo invites all participants and accompanying persons to a reception at the City Hall. Oslo City Hall is situated at the seaside in central Oslo. The building was designed by the architects Arnesen & Poulsson and finished in 1950. Inside the City Hall you will find a rich collection of famous Norwegian artists e.g. Edvard Munch. The get together party is included in the registration fee. Casual dress. Rock the night away at Rockefeller! Gala Dinner![]() January 4th, 2008 at 7 PM, NOK 425 / 1000At the last night of the conference, we will invite you to a Gala dinner at The Radisson SAS Plaza. This will be a new years "bal d'masque"! Will you cover your eyes and be the unknown phantom of the opera? Included in the fee is a welcome drink, 3 course dinner with wine and coffee avec. The big band "Prime Time Orchestra", will make us swing through the night. Dress up, bring dancing shoes and mask. Munch museum & Vigeland Park tour![]() Friday January 4th, 2008, 1330-1630: 240,-A minimum of 20 persons must sign up for the tour. If the tour is cancelled, this fee will be refunded. On this tour you will first visit the Munch Museum. The Munch Museum consists of a large number of paintings, graphical prints and drawings by Edvard Munch. Edvard Munch has a unique position among Nordic painters and is considered a pioneer in expressionism. After this museum you will visit The Vigeland Park. This park is one of Norway's most visited attractions. The unique sculpture park is the life work of the sculptor Gustav Vigeland. The sculpture park consists of more than 200 sculptures in bronze, granite and cast iron. Vigeland was himself responsible for the design and architectural outline of the park. Highlights tour![]() Friday January 4th, 2008, 1330 - 1630: NOK 290,-A minimum of 20 persons must sign up for the tour. If the tour is cancelled, this fee will be refunded. First there will be a city sightseeing where you will be able to drive past and see The Royal Palace and OsloCity Hall. After that you will go to the Vigeland Park. Next stop is Holmenkollen. At Holmenkollen you will see the ski jump and the view, before you go to Bygdøy and Frammuseet. At this museum you will see the polar ship Fram. Fram is the world's strongest ship, and the one that has sailed the furthest to the North and to the South. Fridtjof Nansen, Otto Sverdrup and Roald Amundsen used Fram for three great polar expeditions. Skiing in Holmenkollen![]() Friday January 4th, 2008, 1230 - 1630: NOK 50,- (Transportation only)Due to limited time, and the distance from the hotel to the Holmenkollen skiing area, please bring your own skis. There will not be time to rent ski equipment. However, we will arrange transportation from the hotel to the ski area. Please sign up on the on-line registration form. If you sign up for this, a lunchbox will be provided, as we leave the hotel directly after the sessions that start at 11:00 finish. The lunch can be eaten on the bus, as it takes approx 30 minutes to reach the destination. You have a choice of downhill skiing or cross country skiing.
